SVL News:

Our # 1, most frequently asked question:

Do we have older, fully trained dogs available for adoption?

It's pretty rare for us to have an older trained available for adoption. Most folks hang on to their doodles after they've invested the time, energy and affection in to training them. But on the occasion when we do have an older doodle to place, we will post a notice on this site.

We are a breeder of Labradoodles and Goldendoodles located in Davis, California. Our goal is to breed an all-around great family dog: healthy, allergy-friendly with a superb disposition.

Our interest in dog breeding began with a love of Labrador and Golden Retrievers, well known for their great dispositions. A number of our extended family members are allergic to dogs and so the search was on for the right mix of allergy-friendliness and wonderful personality. Enter the Doodle! Labradoodles and Goldendoodles possess the strengths of both the Retriever and the Poodle: intelligent, personable and allergy-friendly dogs.

As family members, our dogs live in our home, or approved Guardian homes, and are socialized with both children and other dogs. Purple Girl at 6 weeks All our breeding dogs are chosen for their health, wonderful temperaments and great coats.

Davis , in the beautiful California Central Valley, lies between the majestic Sierras and the Pacific Coast, a short distance from both Sacramento and San Francisco. We are home to the University of California School of Veterinary Medicine, the largest veterinary school in the United States.

We look forward to sharing with you our love of the Labradoodle and the Goldendoodle.

Neptune is our 6th generation Australian labradoodle. In addition to being the dad to many of our pups, Neptune has received his "Canine Good Citizen" certificate and has been certified by the Delta Society as a "Therapy Dog". Neptune travels to long-term care facilities in Sacramento to do what he does best...make people smile !

Zorro - 2008 Goldendoodle Coverboy

Zorro's smile says it all! He is a sweet, gentle ball of fluff! In addition to his career in front of the camera, Zorro serves as the Loeb's family dog as well as the dad of our goldendoodle pups. Who couldn't love a face like this? : )

Neptune - 2007 Labradoodle Cover boy

Lounging by the pool, waiting for his agent to call with the details of the next photo shoot, Neptune is still remarkably "down to earth" despite his celebrity status ; )

Rory Covergirl

Rory - 2006 Labradoodle Covergirl

Rory is the mom of our F1B labradoodles. She was the covergirl for the first professionally produced labradoodle calendar. We think they made a superb choice : )
